Skill level: Understand how to do a basic garter stitch as well as joining and knitting a project in the round.
Required supplies:
- Pattern: Felted Moebius Basket in "A Second Treasury of Magical Knitting" by Cat Bordhi
- Yarn: 100% Wool yarn ~100 g 1 skein; 1 yard waste yarn
- Needles: (you may require a different size to get correct gauge) size 11 (8 mm) circular, 47"-55" length, also 16" length
- Notions: tapestry needle, stitch markers
- Gauge: (before felting) 12 sts= 4" (10 cm)

During the first session, Sivia will walk us through how to do the moebius and then we will check in with each other every Monday. You may complete a full basket, 3 baskets, or half a basket – it is entirely up to you!

Sivia Harding has worked with fiber and art since she can remember.
Obsessed since youth, by adulthood she had dabbled in weaving, spinning,
and dyeing among other activities, and came to knitting in the year 2000.
Almost immediately, she began to design. She is known for exceptional
designs including lace, garments, accessories, and imaginative Moebius
creations. She has been widely published in books, collections, and
magazines, including Jared Flood’s Wool People series, Spin Off, and on
Ravelry as Sivia Harding Knit Design.
