A decade ago I designed my Wherewithall Vest. When I wore it to my island knitting retreats, my students begged for the pattern, and so about a year ago I began to develop just that: a friendly pattern that allows anyone to create a unique version of this vest to easily fit anyone, child or adult. Several people have adapted it to fit dog, and I knit one for a cat! So this is what I shall teach during this Grand Canyon-inspired retreat hosted by my very dear friend Michele Roberts, owner of Purl in the Pines in Flagstaff, AZ. My dear friend Carson Demers, author of Knitting Comfortably: the Ergonomics of Hand-Knitting, will also be teaching, so this is a rare opportunity to learn how to modify your knitting habits to avoid aches and pains. Oh, and the Grand Canyon! And Purl in the Pines, a magnificent yarn shop! I would be honored and delighted if you chose to join us for this event.
